Environment

Our world faces many serious environmental challenges. We can meet them – but only if we act now.

Protecting the environment isn’t just an investment in the future – it also brings immediate public health and economic benefits. Climate change endangers people’s health and poses serious economic risks. So does declining ocean health. Pollution from coal power plants is the biggest contributor to our carbon footprint and cause hundreds of thousands of deaths every year. By acting boldly to address these threats, we can improve millions of lives today – and build a safer, healthier future for the generations to come.
