I've used this app for years but it's just not improving. The interface is the same as it always has been with limitations like the inability to sort any of the SSIDs in any normal way making it really hard to use. Still there's very good information but all the new features have gone into the pro/premium version that requires a subscription. Even worse, the free version is now full of ads, full screen ads, ads on startup, ads while you're using the app, ads trying to exit the app, ads ads ads.

Previously charged for Wifi Analyzer Premium, stating it was a "one time purchase fee" - then stopped developing the app, which now no longer works. New version is a total con, asking £11 for "one time purchase" (again, and this price was during a "special offer for 2 hours only on 31st March 2024). The free version of this now has unbearable advertising that can no longer be muted. Uninstalled, installed a free open source version. Ubiquiti WifiMan is also free, and visually superior.

As an experienced professional, this doesn't fit my needs. This app repeatedly (multiple times a day) nags you to rate it, interrupting what you're trying to research. It has no feature to filter the access points list, and are in no discernable order, such as alphabetical or by strength. Switching between frequency bands doesn't let you choose it but must cycle thru, in sequence, from 2.4mhz, 5ghz and 6ghz, in that other. Such simple bad choices in design, causes frustrations in using it.
