I am currently an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.

My research focus is on how technologies change the way people make decisions, solve problems, and coordinate with others. In particular, I am interested in human-machine interaction, open source software, and online social networks. I use a variety of methods including machine learning, econometrics, operations research modeling, and simulations. A significant component of my work is also the development and application of new research methods, especially in the domain of social networks.

My research has been funded in part by grants from NASA and the US Department of Defense.
