This registration form is only for students who have the status of temporary protection from Migri.  
 
For us to process this form, you need to attach proof of your status to this form. This proof is most commonly the decision letter that you were given by the Finnish Immigration Service, and it was most likely sent to you by post. You may take a photo of the letter or scan it to a computer and attach it as a PDF-file.

The processing time of this form is approximately one week.  
Forms that are not properly filled in or do not have a valid attachment will not be processed.

English-language courses are free for the 2023-2024 academic year for those with the status of temporary protection from Migri. (With the exception of those few courses that have a fixed admissions quota.) The Right to study:

By registering you get a temporary right to study, which is specific to the course and its implementation. The implementation-specific duration of the right to study is determined by the schedule of the course’s implementation.


Cancellation terms:
 
The right to study cannot be cancelled. If you develop medical or health problems lasting at least one month (and the sick leave starts after registration), you are entitled to apply for a temporary suspension of your right to study. The student is required to submit the medical certificate as soon as possible to the Open University for a case-specific consideration.

This consent enables the university to disclose the registree's name and contact information to associations, foundations and equivalent public corporations to be used in communications aiming to advance the studies or to improve the study conditions, as well as to disclose personal data to be used in public registers. (Personal Data Act 523/1999, Act on the Openness of Government Activities 621/1999).
The registree’s contact information WILL NOT be disclosed for direct marketing purposes.
