COM:DW of the copyrighted work. Not meet COM:FOP Israel. SCP-2000 11:38, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The picture is a small part of the total picture. There is no real reason to delete it Hanay (talk) 12:11, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not only the picture is copyrighted, but the entire poster is copyrighted. Thanks. SCP-2000 03:27, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Proper COM:FOP Israel; The file in question (and many more similars), have been appearing in a permanent exhibition for months, in Kikar HaHatufim ("Kidnapped Square" aka Category:Hostages Square).
So, there is no justification for deletion. Additionally, the opening of the discussion might be under circumstances that raise some concerns. · מקף Hyphen · 18:45, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any reference that mentions that this poster is permanently situated in a public place? Thanks. SCP-2000 03:30, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This poster together with the posters of other abductees has been hanging since October 2023 after the abduction, on a fence of Sportek Nesher. Link to the video on my YouTube channel that I uploaded of the posters. The posters were not taken down because the war continues, and there are about 140 more abductees that Hamas refuses to release, including Kfir Bibas, his brother Ariel and their mother Shiri. Hanay (talk) 09:19, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So if I understand correctly, the poster will be taken down when the war is over and it is not permanently situated? Thanks. SCP-2000 15:18, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The first DR was withdrawn after a VRT ticket was recieved, however the VRT ticket is only for the text and layout of the poster. It does not give permission for the photograph within the poster - the copyright of that is held by the photographer. The VRT ticket is sufficient to keep these posters only if the photographs of the victims are blurred out. De minimis does not apply - COM:DM Israel allows for "incidental" inclusion, but this is prominent (roughly a quarter of the poster) and a key element of it. Really a second time? User:geagea what's going on here? Have you ever seen a Deletion request where an piucture was left, and a VRT volunteer insists to delete it in the second time? Hanay (talk) 03:59, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See this comment. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 09:18, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to respond with reasons for keeping all the pictures I took and maybe more pictures as well. It takes time. Because at one time 33 different pictures I took were requested to be deleted. See User talk:Hanay
I ask the Commons administrators to give me the time to do so. Do not rush to delete. It is much easier and faster to demand deletion than to write reasons against deletion. Thanks Hanay (talk) 07:19, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
