Description

This task involves the work of writing and deploying the config change necessary to enable the mobile visual editor by default at the:

Edit Check partner (T327707) wikis
Edit Check A/B test (T345298) wikis
Wikis that participated in the mobile VE A/B test (T221196)

Participating wikis

Populate from T327707, T345298, and T221196.

Requirements

For all 1) new accounts and 2) logged out people who initial an edit on mobile, show them the mobile visual editing interface by default
People who already have a sticky editing interface preference (e.g. Always give me the source editor) set within Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing` will NOT be impacted/see any change as a result of the mobile visual editor being enabled, by default, for the people named in "1."

For Tech News:

The [[mw:VisualEditor_on_mobile|mobile visual editor]] is now the default editor for users who never edited before, at a small group of wikis. [[mw:VisualEditor_on_mobile/VE_mobile_default#A/B_test_results | Research ]] shows that users using this editor are slightly more successful publishing the edits they started, and slightly less successful publishing non-reverted edits. Users who defined the wikitext editor as their default on desktop will get the wikitext editor on mobile for their first edit on mobile as well.
