Spring 2009: Earned ACC Freshman of the Year honors as he helped lead the Seminoles to a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship at Red Tail Golf Club in Sorrento, Fla...Florida State's top finisher in the NCAA Southeast Regional (tied for sixth) and its second highest scorer in his first career ACC Championship (tied for 27th)...was plus two strokes over par in his final seven tournaments of the season with two under par finishes and one even par finish over the final three months and seven tournaments of the season...was the Seminoles top finisher in three of the Seminoles' final four events of the season - in the stroke play portion of the Callaway Match Play Championship, at the US Collegiate Championship and at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship...led the Seminoles as he played in all eight events, was tied for the team lead with 11 rounds at par or better, the team leader with 18 rounds scored at 75 or better and led the team with a 71.59 stroke average...finished his spectacular freshman season with four consecutive scores in the 60's for an average of 68.75 strokes in the final round of the ACC Championship and in the three rounds of the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship...carded a team-leading eight scorers in the 60's with at least one coming in five of his eight tournament appearances...turned in an incredible performance at the NCAA Southeast Regional as he finished with a seven under par score for a career-best 206 total as he helped the Seminoles to a tie for seventh place finish in the team standings....carded scores of 69-69-68 and was never above par at any time during the event...was one of only two golfers in the 75 player field to card three consecutive scores in the 60's...nearly flawless during the first round with two birdies and 16 holes of par...was three under par through his first 17 holes of the second day before finishing the round with a bogey...carded 53 of 54 holes at par or better with eight birdies and only one bogey during the three round event...his only above par hole came on the 18th and final hole of the second round...finished in second place at the Florida State Spring Break Invitational with scores of 68-65 and a 133 total for the two round event...his single round score of 65 and his 36-hole total of 133 rank as the best of his career...was a career-best 11 under par for the two round event which saw the Seminoles take the team title...his single round score of 65 was the second best round carded by a Seminole player during the season...followed his performance in the Florida State Spring Break Invitational with an even par score of 144 in the stroke play competition of the Callaway Match Play Championship...carded scores of 71-73 to lead the Seminoles to a No. 3 seeding in the match play portion of the event... finished match play with a 2-0-1 record after finishing in a tie for fourth place in stroke play competition...carded an even par 144 in two rounds of stroke play to begin the tournament...helped lead the Seminoles to a tie for third place finish in the match play competition of the event...defeated Garrett Merrell of Texas Tech in the first round 2 and 1, defeated Jason Millard of Middle Tennessee State in the second round 3 and 1 and halved Phillip Francis of UCLA in the third and final match...earned the first top 15 finish of his career at the Gator Invitational...was plus one stroke over par with scores of 72-69-70 and a total of 211 in leading the Seminoles to a fourth place finish in the event...was a in a tie for 14th place in the individual standings after two rounds with a 141 total for the first 36 holes of the event...played well in his first career ACC Championship as he finished in a tie for 27th place in the individual standings and a four over par score of 220...carded scores of 72 in the first round and 69 in the third round...averaged 71.59 strokes in 22 rounds during eight tournaments...

Fall 2009: Earned two top 10 finishes and helped lead Florida State to one team championship at the Gary Koch Intercollegiate and three top 10 finishes...best career tournament score of 205 and finished in fourth place in the individual standings in leading the Seminoles to the team championship of the Gary Koch Intercollegiate...carded scores of 68-70-67 in finishing at 11 strokes under par as the Seminoles won the event by 16 strokes over Texas Tech...his score vs. par of 11 under par matched his career best that also came during the Florida Sate Spring break Invitational during the spring of 2009...his score of 68 helped the Seminoles move from second place in the team standings to first place in the final round for their second of three teams wins during the fall and spring seasons...finished in a tie for fifth place in the individual standings as the rain-shortened Brickyard Intercollegiate...carded scores of 72-69 to finish with a three under par score of 141...was in a tie for 16th place in the individual standings after carding a 72 in the first round and moved into a tie for fifth as he scored a 69 in the second round...the third round of the event was rained out...was 10 strokes under par in three events including 14 under par in his final two events of the season...tied for the team lead with six of eight rounds scored at par or better...averaged a career-low 70.75 strokes in eight rounds during three events...
