Rolf Harris looks into the history of art on Christmas cards, and travels to Lapland - home of Santa Claus - to design a card specially for Children in Need.Surrounded by perfect Christmas scenery, Rolf photographs tobogganing children, a snowman and even a mystery figure in a red jacket, before combining them in his Christmas card painting. He reveals the history behind popular Christmas card images, and visits London's V&A museum to glimpse the world's first Christmas card.Rolf introduces us to four professional designers whose cards have earned them nominations at the greeting card awards - named the 'Henries' in honour of the originator of Christmas cards. Who will win the award, and can Rolf match their success with his card?Finally, Rolf follows his painting's transformation into a card, hoping that the printing process might even improve his original artwork, and celebrates seeing his card reach shop shelves all over the country.
