This movies might seem old to some of you, and/or foreign to others. But that does not mean the message here doesn't transcend time and culture. In fact, the message in this movie still holds true today. Politics, it's what responsible for running many governments, the world over. When it is abused, we see all the wrongs of the world come to fruition and when used ethically we see a country move towards a more Utopian society. Unfortunately, more often than not, it has been used for the wrong purposes. When we don't take the time to understand politics and our history, many of us keep repeating the wrongs of history over and over, because every time we forget to learn from them or retain them all together. And corrupt people will always take advantage of our lack of knowledge and understanding. So we as citizens of the free world and your county have a duty to educate ourselves and "think not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your county." - John F. Kennedy. Only then can we prosper together. For those who have not seen it, I highly recommend it. It is one of my all time favorite movies.
