Johanna Angermeyer is the daughter of one of the first settlers on the Galapagos Islands. In addition to her book “My Father's Island: A Galapagos Quest”, she now shares rare photographs, family drawings and interviews with old timers, giving a unique glimpse of life in the early days in the Enchanted Islands, the Galapagos.

She met her English husband while trying to catch a wild horse in the hills of Galapagos.

After moving to Britain, they took care of various stately homes for the National Trust. At present Johanna and her husband live in rural Sussex with an assortment of animals including a llama named Fernando.

Johanna Angermeyer has sold her art all over the world and her book “My Father's Island: A Galapagos Quest” is on its fifth reprint and is soon to be translated into Spanish.

Concerned with animal welfare, Johanna Angermeyer is involved with conservation of both human and wildlife habitats. She visits Galapagos frequently where she has strong family ties.
