In the summer of 2010 I recorded and released a series of podcasts dedicated to the infamous Scopes Trial of Dayton, Tenn. The idea occurred to me near the end of 2009, and I was just able to get everything recorded and in place to begin releasing episodes to coincide to the day, each report that HL Mencken published in the Baltimore Evening Sun.
Please visit the wikipedia pages on the Scopes Trial, and H.L. Mencken for more information on the two, but if you’re familiar enough with the background to launch into the series, please download or stream the episodes.
Underneath each audio player is a link to the post for each episode that features links and the full original text.
