Indonesia Red Cross (PMI) staff sterilized the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran towers in Central Jakarta on Saturday as preparation for turning the 2018 Asian Games’ athletes village into an emergency COVID-19 hospital.
In the initial phase, the government will start using 2,400 rooms in two of Wisma’s 10 towers to treat and isolate COVID-19 patients and suspected patients.
The government is open to the possibility of using all 10 towers as a hospital, depending on future developments. (JP/Seto Wardhana)
