I don't mind the idea of picking topics for a personal feed, but I do NOT want it to be forced on me, or made the default view without me deciding it. Why do I have to pick 5 topics; what if I only want 1, or 0? It should be completely optional. I personally prefer to scroll through the full list of un-filtered headlines from "Top Stories", and this update just added extra work for me to do that.

The app was fine until their resent update that made it more difficult to filter out outlets that are not really news like FoxNew's Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Ingrame Angle. These are conspiracy/opinion shows not news and without the ability to see the outlet for the news summary I have to now go into the article to find out. It got worse, their latest update just sent my preferred readings into the trash and now some pathetic AI is trying to guess what I like. Garbage app.

I used to like this app but it stopped working. I click on stories but it refuses to let me read anything until I choose 5 types of news. I don't want to limit the type of news that I read so I'll probably just uninstall all yahoo products from my 3 phone, Chromebook, various tablets and iPads because I don't want to limit my news reading.
