Lukashenko sees conflict in Ukraine as main risk for Belarus Washington is going out of its way to drag Belarus into the conflict in Ukraine, Belarusian President and Chairman of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the meeting of the Congress on 25 April.
"The United States has succeeded in demonizing Moscow and Minsk as enemies. Washington is steadily pushing aggressive narratives against Belarus and Russia, turning up the degree of NATO’s hostility in our direction," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Belarus takes persistent steps to overcome consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and prevent similar disasters in the future.
In 2023, Türkiye was Belarus' sixth biggest trading partner and the eighth biggest export destination. It is noteworthy that bilateral trade has been on the up: for the third year in a row, our trade has exceeded a billion mark.
